I love being from the south. I love that most my friends drive picked up trucks, or suped up old sports cars. I love my Ariat boots that are about to fall apart because I wear them more than any other shoe in my possession. I love that my friends and I have bonfires and drink home made apple pie moonshine.I love that some ones heart is always being blessed may it be for the better or the worst. I love that my school is the heart of the south (roll tide) I love that CMA fest is what we all save up for instead of a purse. I love that where Im from they use phrases that most the time I cant understand, or they have to repeat till I do. I love that Jason Aldean is basically the soundtrack to my life. I love that I enjoy cool spring days tubing down the river, hot summer nights watching the lightning roll in from on top a mountain, chilly autumn days playing hookie from life, and snowed in winter days with my friends and family. I love that to get to my house I have to go through a corn field, cross a bridge, or take the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love that football is a religion and way past a way of life. I love that driving to dinner I can smell bacon grease miles away. I love the way his tired fish tail the moment we hit that dirt road. I love everything about the south and all the chaos that comes with it. Ive traveled the world and I love exploring, but there is no where else I could live or love like I do Dixie.

Some thing about a red muscle car that can make my heart go vroom.
The 1969 Chevy Chevelle was very similar to the 1968 model although some minor changes did occur. Although the two model years appear to be identical in many ways, those who know a thing or two about the Chevelle lineup of cars know that this is not exactly the case.
The body of the 1969 Chevelle was the same as the prior year. That being said, its new good looks came from a change to the grille, headlamp bezels, tail lights, and other minor upgrades. These changes may not sound like a big deal, but anytime the grille and headlamps of a car are altered it is bound to appear a bit different – and that is exactly what happened with the 1969 Chevelle.
The 1969 Chevelle was made available to the public in several trim levels including: the Chevelle 300, Chevelle Nomad, Chevelle Malibu, Chevelle Concourse, and the popular 1969 Chevelle SS . While many of these models can be considered classics, some stand out above the rest. In today’s day and age, collectors are always on the lookout for a restored SS396.
Each of the trim levels above came with either a V6 or V8 engine. The only exception was the SS396 which could only be ordered with the V8. Body styles included: 2 door wagon, 4 door wagon, 4 door sedan, 2 door convertible, 2 door sedan, and 2 door sport coupe.
One of the biggest benefits of the 1969 Chevelle was the number of exterior colors that were available. They included: Midnight Teal Metallic, Tuxedo Black, Grotto Blue Metallic, Ermine White, Island Teal Metallic, Fathom Blue Metallic, Lemans Blue Metallic, Ash Gold Metallic, Cordovan Maroon Metallic, Grecian Green Metallic, Autumn Bronze Metallic, Rallye Green Metallic, Butternut Yellow, Tripoli Turquoise Metallic, Teal Blue, Metallic, Burnished Saddle Metallic, Corvette Bronze Metallic, Seafrost Green Metallic, Verdoro Green Metallic, Matador Red, Jade Gold Metallic, Palomino Ivory, Silver Beige Mist Metallic, Sequoia Green Metallic, Buckskin, and Inca Silver Mist Metallic.
Interior color options also varied greatly to include: light green, dark blue, black, red, parchment, saddle, and dark metallic green. Bucket and bench seats were available in all of these colors.
The base engine in the 1969 Chevelle was a powerful V6. Of course, those interested in more horsepower had the option of upgrading to a V8 big block with 325, 350, or 375 horsepower. Both manual and automatic transmissions were available.
Chevrolet produced approximately 503,000 1969 Chevelles.

I stumbled upon Curate Tapas Bar after my friends soccer game one late night in Asheville, NC. Love at first sight was an understatement. The moment I walked in the first thing I saw was a piece of aged ham with a wonderful little piece of paper that mentioned it was imported from Spain (Bailey: 1, World: 0), then as I glanced to my right was a waiter making fresh sangria, and just when it can not get any better a plate of hot chorizo was sat down at a table close to the door…Had I died? Was I in carnivore heaven? My friend and I sat at the bar where we were watching the kitchen run better than a machine. The menu is phenomenal and my only problem was picking out what I was going to eat, first world problem at its finest, but if you chose to visit this fantastic restaurant top five things to try are 1. aceitunas curate: olives that are home cured but do not fret they are natural and have a nutty, fruity taste with a salty hint. Not like some one rolled them on a salt lick. 2. tabla de jamon: a plate of three Spanish cured hams (jamon serrano which is a dry cured ham, jamon iberico fermin which is a ham from the black footed iberico pigs of Spain, and the jamon iberico de bellota fermin which are the same black footed pigs BUT they are only fed with acorns) it is a great way to be able to try the best of the hams Curate has to offer. 3. berenjenas al taberna: 4 pieces of lightly battered and friend eggplant drizzled in local honey and rosemary. 4. chistorra con patatas al aceite de oliva: this is the reason I am so desperately in love with this place. Grilled chorizo with an olive oil potato puree. With out a doubt the MOST DIVINE THING I HAVE EVER EATEN. If you order anything I insist this be the one. 5. sorbete del dia: To finish off on a sweet note they have a sorbet of the day, the best they have is the apple sorbet it is perfectly sweet and tangy and made with local apples. I could go on forever about Curate but my words can do no justice for such well made food. My hat is off to this fantastic treasure hidden away in the Appalachian Mountains of Asheville, NC.

New York, the best place to escape in a city. Only place you can go any where you want in the world in a 50 mile radius

The best pizza in all of New York despite Rays as Santa declares, is Lombardi’s in Little Italy. You might so close to the people next to you that you can smell them but the pizza is worth the wait and the uncomfortable closeness. Righteously thin and made with top ingredients after a long day of walking around (especially in the cold) and exploring the carb overload will send you to pizza nirvana.

With a name like the Tattooed Moose you cant go in with too many expectations except that most likely its going to be a little different. Little did I know that in Charleston, SC lived the most divine sandwich that I have ever heard of the Duck Club. A sandwich, neigh a heavenly vessel of delicious duck, bacon, and cheese…I can honestly say Im not sure what else you could ask for. A Triple Decker filled with Duck Confit, Apple Smoked Bacon, Smoked Cheddar on Sweet Hawaiian Bread with Garlic Aioli, Lettuce, Tomato, & Red Onion. I think I found my next road trip destination.

still one of my dream cars
